JOB OBJECTIVE

• Prepares and executes the installation of the delivered equipment(s) and system(s)
• Execute Level 1 preventive and corrective maintenance activities and support the engineers for Level 2 and Level 3 preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• The person should willing to work during weekends, and during holidays

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of a team, contribute to  project deployment and maintenance activities;

• Performs site surveys and contributes to Site Readiness Review
• Verifies that assigned work is in accordance with Customer requirements and is consistent with installation schedule
• Takes part effectively in Customer equipment’s installation and configuration, unit testing, verification, preparation for putting into operation
• Identifies and solves problems in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Promptly informs the Installation engineer about any case when installation and testing activity is not carried out properly
• Records the results of test activities in measurements sheets and prepares suitable reports
• Provides technical support to Customer, Thales or subcontractor teams for installation related issues
• Assists Post Installation Check Out (PICO) and tests and commissioning activities as required, in coordination and cooperation with involved teams
• Contributes to the activities of Thales technical specialists to perform integration testing, trouble shooting and commissioning testing when required
• Ensures the quality, security and suitability of all work performed
• Test and Measurement Equipment calibration
• Daily reporting of  system operational issues identification and PCR creation
• System monitoring through various monitoring tools and report on any deviation or defects

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge and experience on Transportation Security systems installations and maintenance (Communication and Signaling Systems)

QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma inElectronic or Communications is must and should be certified by Saudi Engineering of Council (SEC)

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Ability to demonstrate installation, commissioning & troubleshooting techniques.
• Performs basic configurations and knowledge on System configurations
• Able to calibrate and hands on electronic tools to perform installation activities
• Able to perform preventive maintenance
• Able to prepare technical reports

Work location is Makkah city in Saudi Arabia.
