We are looking for an Inbound Officer to join our logistics operations team.
The role is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient receiving operations by verifying inbound shipments, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring proper documentation.
The Inbound Officer will coordinate closely with warehouse, transportation, and quality teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities: Supervise and execute inbound receiving operations and unloading activities.
Verify received goods against invoices, purchase orders, and delivery notes.
Inspect product quality, quantity, and expiration dates to ensure compliance with company standards.
Report damaged items, shortages, or discrepancies immediately.
Manage batch creation and ensure proper labeling of received goods.
Organize and transfer received pallets to designated warehouse zones.
Coordinate truck scheduling and gate management to avoid delays and congestion.
Maintain accurate receiving records and update transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Prepare daily receiving and discrepancy reports.
Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse receiving or inbound operations.
Good knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and barcode scanning.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Ability to lift and move materials when required and stand for extended periods.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
