Job Description & Role:


Our client, an Investment Company, is looking for a highly motivated and highly skilled Head of Projects Management professional who will report to the CEO, with a passion for self-growth to join their team.


Candidate will help establish and run the company Project Management department, and represent the company in front of all stakeholders (consultant, contractors, and suppliers), and drive growth.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage the Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Manage the Project Management Office team and ensure successful execution of the projects, from pre-study to execution and delivery maintenance.
  • Manage a group of project managers, in delivering multiple projects.
  • Lead the design and set-up of the project management office, establishing the PMO as a central function within the company.
  • Ongoing management and continuous improvement of the PMO, ensuring that the company has the project management capabilities to deliver large complex projects.
  • Lead capacity building and training to strengthen project management capabilities across the organization.
  • Establish a consistent approach for oversight and performance reporting of largescale projects.
  • Maintain oversight of live projects and provide regular performance reports to senior management.
  • Collaborate and communicate with business leaders to translate strategic direction into a series of actionable, measurable projects and initiatives to achieve objectives and both short-term and long-term goals.
  • Work closely with colleagues across teams to ensure that robust project management principles are embedded in key processes.
  • Act as project management coach and advisor for team and senior colleagues.

Additional Requirements:


  • A degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
  • A minimum of 15 years related experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years in project management.
  • PMP certification is a must.
  • Proven solid knowledge in Primavera / MS Project.
  • Solid knowledge and expertise in the use of program management methodologies.
  • Experience in managing construction projects.
  • Excellent project management skills with significant experience of leading and project managing large complex projects and/or programmes.
  • Good decision-making skills and confident in making strategic and operational decisions.
  • Proven ability to establish credibility with senior stakeholders, excellent influencing skills to build and maintain relationships and work collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with experience of producing reports and presentations for a senior audience, such as Board of Trustees and Senior Management team.
  • Excellent self-management skills to work independently, using own initiative and being flexible and adaptable.
  • Experience of managing a team, providing excellent line management and support to direct reports.
  • Registered in Saudi Council of Engineers.
  • Arabic Native with Strong English.
  • Currently in Saudi Arabia.
