Key ResponsibilitiesLead and enhance the corporate governance framework, ensuring alignment with Group standards and regulatory requirementsCoordinate Board and committee activities, including preparation of materials, tracking actions, and supporting effective decision-makingDevelop, review, and maintain governance policies, procedures, and delegation of authority frameworks across the businessAct as the central point of contact for regulators, managing submissions, licensing requirements, and ongoing supervisory engagementOversee audit, compliance, and control activities, ensuring timely remediation of findings and adherence to internal policiesSupport risk management processes, including risk appetite monitoring, identification of breaches, and escalation of key issuesDrive governance across areas such as legal, data protection, customer conduct, and strategic planning to ensure consistent oversight
Requirements8+ years of experience within financial services, with a strong background in governance, risk, compliance, or auditSolid understanding of corporate governance frameworks, Board processes, and regulatory expectations within capital markets or bankingExperience engaging with regulators and managing regulatory submissions, audits, and licensing processesStrong ability to develop policies, frameworks, and governance documentation in a structured and practical mannerProven track record in stakeholder management, including interaction with senior management and Board-level audiencesAnalytical mindset with the ability to assess risk, interpret regulatory requirements, and provide clear recommendationsHigh level of professionalism, integrity, and sound judgement, with the ability to operate effectively in complex environments
