JOB PURPOSE


BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

The Geospatial Program Manager oversees the development and implementation of geospatial programs and initiatives. The purpose of this role is to ensure consistent, accurate and efficient collection, management, analysis, and dissemination of geospatial data and intelligence products to support military operations and decision-making. The Individual should be able to work well unsupervised and will be able to plan and organise the team’s activities.


JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES


·Develops and implements geospatial policies, procedures, and standards to support organisational objectives.


·Manages geospatial information programs and initiatives, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.


·Collaborates with other managers to identify, prioritise, and meet geospatial needs and requirements.


·Oversees the acquisition, management, and dissemination of geospatial data and intelligence products.


·Maintains a comprehensive understanding of geospatial trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.


·Ensures that geospatial strategies and programs are aligned with the overall organisational objectives and mission.


·Develops and monitors the geospatial budget and ensures that all financial and regulatory requirements are met.


RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION


Essential


·Master’s degree in Geospatial Information, or related field.


·Program Management Professional (PgMP) certified.


·Extensive proven experience in geospatial management or program management roles.


·Strong leadership, project management, and budget planning skills.


·Excellent knowledge of geospatial principles, tools, and technologies.


·Knowledge with geospatial data standards and policies i.e. NSG, ISO, IHO, DGWIG, NATO (STANAG), OGC, W3C, SDO.


·Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.


·Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and customers.
