Job description

We're looking for a Finance Manager who is responsible for leading the financial operations of Tweeq's wallet entity, ensuring robust financial governance, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence
in a regulated EMI/payment environment.

The Finance Manager plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with SAMA requirements, IFRS standards, and internal control frameworks, ensuring that customer, operational processes, and financial reporting are managed with the funds highest level of integrity and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Reporting
• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including general ledger, accounts
payable/receivable, reconciliations, and expense management.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Ensure timely close financial processes and maintain high data integrity across finance
systems.
• Conduct financial performance analysis and provide management reporting and insights.

Wallet & Payments Oversight
• Supervise wallet transaction accounting, settlement cycles, and reconciliation processes across payment partners and banking channels.
• Ensure safeguarding and segregation of customer funds in line with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor transaction flows and investigate discrepancies or operational risks.
• Work closely with operations and technology teams to improve financial processes and
controls.

Treasury & Liquidity Management
• Monitor liquidity positions and cash flow to ensure operational stability.
• Support treasury activities including funding and settlements.
• Escalate liquidity or operational risks in a timely manner.
Regulatory Compliance & Governance
• Ensure compliance with SAMA regulations applicable to wallet/EMI entities.
• Support regulatory reporting and communication with regulators.
• Maintain strong internal financial controls and risk management frameworks.
• Support internal and external audits.
Budgeting & Planning
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Monitor budget performance and conduct variance analysis.
• Assist management in financial decision-making.
Systems & Process Improvement
• Maintain ERP and finance systems accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
• Implement scalable finance processes suitable for a growing fintech environment.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and mentor finance staff.
• Foster accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.
• Ensure operational continuity and knowledge sharing.
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work cross-functionally with compliance, risk, operations, and product teams.
• Manage relationships with banks, payment providers, auditors, and vendors.
• Support business initiatives with financial expertise.


Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) preferred.
• 5+ years of finance experience, ideally within fintech, payments, or regulated financial
institutions.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and EMI/payment regulatory frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with treasury, reconciliations, and safeguarding structures.
• Experience in ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
