Expeditor


Job Purpose The Expeditor is responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of materials by monitoring and supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of procurement requests. This role acts as the vital link between supply chain functions and field operations (Rigs), ensuring that operational continuity is never compromised by material delays.


Core Responsibilities


  • Comprehensive Order Tracking: Maintain and monitor a live Material Order List to ensure all requirements are progressing through the supply chain.
  • Requisition & PO Management: Diligently track open Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs), identifying and resolving any conversion bottlenecks.
  • Proactive Rig Communication: Maintain constant, professional communication with end-users (Rigs) to provide proactive updates on material status, particularly regarding high-priority or critical items.
  • Delay Mitigation: Identify potential delivery risks early and immediately notify rig management and internal stakeholders of any delays, providing revised ETAs to allow for operational adjustments.
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure the ERP system is updated with real-time vendor delivery performance and shipping data to maintain reporting integrity.
  • Vendor Follow-up: Coordinate with suppliers to validate production schedules and expedite the dispatch of urgent rig equipment.

Physical Working Conditions:


  • Normal working conditions (office): Office-based with occasional travel for meetings or training.


Qualifications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:


  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in procurement, logistics, or supply chain. Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.


  • Technical Knowledge: familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) is an advantage; training will be provided
    • Preference: Candidates with specific Rig Equipment and Material knowledge will have a significant advantage in identifying technical requirements and prioritizing critical items.
  • Skills: Excellent cross-functional coordination and the ability to manage multiple data sources effectively.
