ABIS is seeking an experienced Equipment Supervisor to oversee the operation, maintenance, and management of equipment used in our projects.
The Equipment Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is functioning efficiently, coordinating maintenance schedules, supervising equipment operators and technicians, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
The role involves close coordination with project managers, procurement teams, and maintenance personnel to optimize equipment availability and reliability.
Responsibilities Supervise and manage daily equipment operations and maintenance activities.
Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
Monitor equipment performance and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Manage and lead equipment operators and technicians, providing guidance and training as required.
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and inspections.
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for equipment availability and spare parts.
Identify equipment issues and implement solutions to enhance productivity and safety.
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment supervision, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance practices, safety regulations, and operational standards.
Leadership and team management skills.
Good communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
