Enterprise Architect - Application & Integration
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Role Overview
We are seeking a senior Enterprise Architect - Application & Integration with strong expertise in IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I) to design and lead secure, scalable, and mission‑critical integration solutions for large government systems. The role focuses on integrating legacy, COTS, SaaS, and cloud platforms while ensuring compliance with government security and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Define and lead enterprise integration architecture for complex government environments
  • Design and implement solutions using IBM CP4I, including:
    • App Connect
    • API Connect
    • MQ
    • Event Streams (Kafka)
    • DataPower
  • Design high‑availability and high‑volume integration patterns
  • Lead integration across legacy systems, mainframes, COTS, and cloud platforms
  • Ensure compliance with government security, data protection, and governance standards
  • Establish and enforce integration standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams
  • Provide technical leadership, design reviews, and hands‑on guidance
  • Troubleshoot complex integration and performance issues
  • Produce architecture diagrams and reference documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise integration and middleware architecture
  • Strong hands‑on experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I)
  • Deep expertise in App Connect, API Connect, MQ, Event Streams, DataPower
  • Strong understanding of SOA, API‑led, event‑driven, and messaging architectures
  • Experience designing secure integrations (authentication, authorization, encryption, auditing)
  • Experience working in government or highly regulated environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes
  • DevOps / CI‑CD experience for integration platforms
  • Mainframe integration (z/OS, CICS, IMS)
  • Government data governance and compliance frameworks
  • Relevant certifications (IBM CP4I, TOGAF, OpenShift, Cloud)
