Our leading Client, an Italian Multinational Company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is currently looking to hire Electrical Engineer to join their team.


Role: Electrical Engineer - Riyadh, KSA


Reporting: Project Manager


Budget: SAR 16,000-18,000 + Benefits


Business Need / Purpose of Role:


The Electrical Engineer is responsible for reviewing and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all electrical designs, drawings, and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The role supports the successful execution of electrical engineering activities in line with project scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards while monitoring departmental KPIs and project requirements.


Key Responsibilities :


  1. Ensure all technical designs and specifications from contractors are reviewed and aligned with client requirements, including High Voltage and Medium Voltage systems.
  2. Effectively communicate and coordinate between all Electrical team members and other disciplines to ensure mutual awareness of requirements and shared resources.
  3. Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals in line with project specifications and industry standards.
  4. Coordinate, review, and consolidate all electrical review comments and assign responsibilities to subject matter experts where necessary.
  5. Review and provide inputs/comments on drawings and documents from other disciplines.
  6. Respond to technical queries during contractor tender periods and support tender evaluations.
  7. Review and provide inputs to resolve technical issues and change orders raised by contractors.
  8. Review contractor material proposals against specified technical performance requirements and advise the Technical Manager accordingly.
  9. Attend testing, start-up, and commissioning activities conducted by contractors for all electrical systems.
  10. Ensure effective communication and coordination with peers, all disciplines, Section Chief, and project management team.
  11. Forecast trends and anticipate potential problems affecting milestones or budget.
  12. Ensure contractor design and material deliverables meet project requirements.

Must Have:


  • Degree in Electrical Engineering from an internationally recognized university.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of Consultancy experience as Electrical Engineer in Saudi.
  • Proficiency in ETAP or equivalent electrical calculation software.
  • Comfortable working with and leading a multicultural team of engineers.
