Job description

As an integral part of the CATRION team the driver is responsible for transporting goods and staff from one location to another. 
Job profile includes loading their vehicles, maintenance and upkeep of vehicles, abiding traffic laws and ensuring safe unloading and delivery at the locations, ensure vehicles are properly maintained to assist operations.

Ensure all food items are picked up properly and safely transported to all designated locations.  • Coordinate with the immediate supervisor for picking up of goods from the Unit or designated areas.  • Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the delivery note is acknowledged.   • Preparing reports and assisting in other documents related to deliveries.  • Loading, transporting, and delivering food to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.  • Assisting with loading and unloading food from vehicles.  • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.  • Always ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and maintenance of the vehicle.  • Ensure that daily logs are cleared for the vehicles with valid documents, performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection reports.  • Ensure that air conditioning units of vehicle are functioning as per required standards.  • Perform other duties as assigned time to time beyond outlet operation situations.  • Communicating and coordinating with logistics department.  • Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules to ensure maximum efficiency.  • Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with regulations, ensuring correct driving hours and rest period are adhered to.  • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.  • Others:  • In case of accidents, report to line supervisor immediately.  • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.  • Ensure personal hygiene standards is being followed as per the requirement.  • Providing excellent customer service
