JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE:


As the Security System Division Head, the primary responsibility is to lead and manage all aspects of the division's operations to ensure the effective protection of company assets, personnel, and information. This role involves strategic planning, monitoring, resource management, team leadership, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a robust security posture.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


• Develop and implement strategic plans for the Security Systems Maintenance Division in alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.


• Lead a team of security professionals to design, install, and maintain comprehensive security systems, including access control, surveillance, and alarm systems.


• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess security risks and vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies and response protocols.


• Stay abreast of emerging security technologies and trends and recommend enhancements or upgrades to existing systems as necessary.


• Conduct routine checks to ensure the system’s effectiveness and protection against emerging threats.


• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards and participate in audits and assessments as needed.


• Continuously monitor the security system for potential threats and prompts response incident to mitigate and resolve security breaches.


• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professionalism, and accountability within the Security Systems Maintenance Division.


• Serve as a liaison between the Security Systems Maintenance Division and other departments to facilitate communication and coordination on security-related matters.


• Monitor the division's budget and resources and optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.


• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to divisional staff to foster their professional growth and development.


• Maintaining positive relationships with external vendors, contractors, and partners to support the division's objectives and initiatives.


• Develop and design security systems architecture and specifications based on organizational requirements and industry best practices.


• Conduct security assessments, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify and mitigate security risks.


• Ensure that security systems and processes comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.


• Implement and maintain security monitoring tools and processes to detect and respond to security incidents and anomalies.


• Develop and deliver security awareness and promote security best practices to assist related security projects.


• Develop, review, and update security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the security of information systems and data.


• Evaluate and review existing security architecture and recommend improvements to enhance the overall security posture.


• Create and maintaining technical documentation, including system diagrams, configurations, and procedures for security systems and processes.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:


• Bachelor of Communications & Electronics, Engineering or equivalent.


• Project Management Certificate


• Related Experience certificates


Minimum of 9+ years related experience or equivalent.
