Role Summary The Design Coordinator will play a central role in managing, reviewing, and coordinating all design-related activities across the project lifecycle.
This position ensures that design deliverables meet project standards, align with client expectations, and integrate seamlessly across disciplines.
The role requires strong technical expertise, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams in a fast-paced PMC environment.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage design submissions across all disciplines to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Review design drawings, specifications, and reports, providing technical feedback and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Facilitate communication between consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve design issues promptly.
Monitor design progress, identify risks, and support mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines.
Ensure adherence to local regulations, international standards, and project-specific guidelines.
Support value engineering initiatives and contribute to design optimization efforts.
Participate in design workshops, technical meetings, and coordination sessions.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper version control of design deliverables.
Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture.
Relevant professional membership or certification is preferred.
Minimum 12–15 years of experience in high-rise tower projects.
KSA experience is mandatory.
Prior experience working in a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design processes and construction methodologies.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
