About the job DATA PROTECTION & DLP EXPERT

Role Overview We are looking for a Data Protection and DLP Design Analyst to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise data loss prevention and data protection programs. This role ensures that sensitive data assets are identified, classified, and protected against unauthorized access, exfiltration, and misuse across all channels and environments.


Key Responsibilities


  • Design and implement enterprise-wide DLP strategies and solutions covering endpoint, network, and cloud channels
  • Lead the deployment and tuning of DLP platforms such as Symantec DLP, Forcepoint, or McAfee Total Protection for DLP
  • Develop and maintain data classification frameworks and data handling policies
  • Define DLP rules, policies, and response workflows aligned with regulatory and business requirements
  • Integrate DLP solutions with CASB, SIEM, email security, and endpoint management platforms
  • Conduct data discovery and classification exercises to identify sensitive and regulated data assets
  • Respond to DLP incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend remediation actions
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations including GDPR, PDPL, and NCA ECC data security controls
  • Train and advise business units on data handling best practices and DLP policy requirements

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in data protection and DLP roles
  • Active vendor certification in Symantec, Forcepoint, or McAfee DLP products (required)
  • In-depth knowledge of DLP technologies across endpoint, network, and cloud deployment modes
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations including GDPR, Saudi PDPL, and PCI DSS
  • Experience integrating DLP with broader security ecosystems including SIEM and CASB solutions
