Hill International, a global construction consulting firm specializing in construction management and program and project management, is looking for an experienced construction counsel to join its Legal Department, supporting the Middle East region. This position will also support Hill’s sister company, Palladium. As part of the legal team, you will work closely with Hill and Palladium Operations and other disciplines. Responsibilities include reviewing and assisting in bid and tender opportunities; bond requests; reviewing and negotiating contracts; providing advice and counsel and litigation management. The candidate will also be responsible for assisting with labor issues and handling insurance and risk issues, as well as compliance and corporate matters.
Negotiate, draft and review commercial contracts, including services and consulting agreements,non-disclosureagreements, agency agreements, vendoragreements,jointventureagreements, subconsultant agreements,constructionagreements, government contracts andleases.
Providing sound legal advice.
Provideanalysisandlegaladviceongeneralcorporatematters,includinglicensingand registrations.
Otherdutiesas assigned.
Bachelor of Law from a reputable university.
8-15 years of experience as a practicing attorney, either in-house, or at a top law firm.
5+ years of regional experience.
Experience negotiating, drafting, reviewing, and enforcing contracts.
General corporate law experience.
Excellent problem-solving, written, and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
