Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include:


  • Managing the construction delivery of major Civil Construction Projects  
  • Supervising site engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and construction teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.
  • Reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and construction standards.
  • Coordinating with design, structural, geotechnical, environmental, and project management teams to resolve technical and construction-related issues.
  • Acting as the primary site-based technical point of contact for contractors, consultants, clients, and regulatory authorities.
  • Monitoring construction progress, project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Conducting site inspections, technical evaluations, and progress assessments to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations, engineering standards, and health & safety requirements across all construction activities.
  • Supporting project planning, reporting, construction methodologies, and risk mitigation strategies to achieve successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a minimum of  10 years of experience in civil & infrastructure construction projects, partnered with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.


The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong site-based construction expertise, proven experience managing large-scale construction works, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
