Job Summary


We are seeking a qualified and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our dialysis center in Riyadh. The role is responsible for ensuring safe, effective, and compliant medication management for dialysis patients, supporting clinical teams, and contributing to high-quality patient care outcomes.


Key Responsibilities


  • Review, validate, and dispense medications for dialysis patients in accordance with physician prescriptions and clinical protocols
  • Monitor medication therapy for patients undergoing hemodialysis and home dialysis (HHD), ensuring safety and effectiveness
  • Identify and prevent drug interactions, contraindications, and medication errors
  • Collaborate closely with nephrologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient treatment plans
  • Provide patient counseling on medication usage, adherence, and potential side effects
  • Manage pharmaceutical inventory, including procurement planning, stock level monitoring, expiry tracking, and ensuring uninterrupted availability of critical dialysis medications
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards (SFDA, MOH, and internal policies)
  • Support infection control and medication safety initiatives within the clinic
  • Participate in audits, quality improvement programs, and accreditation processes
  • Contribute to protocol development and continuous improvement of pharmacy services

Qualifications & Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
  • Valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) registration (or eligibility)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in dialysis or nephrology pharmacy
  • Strong knowledge of renal pharmacotherapy and dose adjustments in CKD/ESRD patients
  • Fluent in Arabic
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
