The City Manager will handle the whole Southern region.
The City Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all dark store operations across the Southern region , ensuring operational excellence, service quality, productivity, and profitability.
The role manages multiple Area Managers responsible for clusters of dark stores and acts as the key operational link between field operations and senior leadership.
The City Manager drives execution, people performance, process compliance, and continuous improvement to support business growth in a fast-paced retail and FMCG environment.
Operations Management Oversee daily operations across multiple dark store clusters within the city.
Ensure operational KPIs are consistently achieved, including order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, productivity, shrinkage, and customer satisfaction.
Monitor store performance and implement corrective actions where needed.
Ensure compliance with operational standards, SOPs, safety regulations, and company policies.
Team Leadership Lead, coach, and develop Area Managers to drive high team performance.
Build a strong performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
Support workforce planning, staffing, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
Conduct regular performance reviews and operational follow-ups.
Performance & KPI Management Analyze operational and financial reports to identify trends and opportunities.
Drive achievement of city-level targets related to sales support, fulfillment efficiency, delivery timelines, and operational costs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service levels and operational efficiency.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
6+ years of experience in retail, FMCG, e-commerce, or dark store operations.
Minimum 3 years in a leadership role managing multi-site operations.
Strong leadership, operational, and analytical skills.
Experience managing large teams in fast-paced environments.
Strong understanding of KPIs, inventory management, and operational planning.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office tools.
Experience in quick commerce, dark stores, grocery retail, or FMCG distribution environments.
Experience managing city-wide or regional operations.
