We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and optimize the company’s end-to-end operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive e-commerce platforms and marketplace models, with the ability to scale operations, enhance user experience, and build efficient operational processes. This role will oversee daily operations, vendor management, logistics, customer journey, cross-functional alignment, as well as drive business development and sales targets to ensure sustainable growth and operational excellence. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all day-to-day operations of the platform Build and optimize operational processes across supply and demand sides Manage relationships with car dealers, suppliers, and partners Ensure smooth onboarding and performance of vendors on the platform Collaborate with the tech team to improve platform functionality and user experience Develop and execute operational and sales strategies to support growth and achieve sales targets Enhance customer journey from browsing to purchase, ensuring high satisfaction and retention rates Ensure operational scalability as the business grows and markets expand Lead, build, and manage the operations team, providing mentorship and guidance Coordinate between departments (marketing, sales, product, finance) to ensure alignment with business goals Set, track, and achieve sales targets for business development and sales teams, ensuring the company's products reach the target audience Identify, track, and solve operational bottlenecks to improve the overall performance Ensure continuous business development by identifying new growth opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and optimizing revenue generation. Requirements 8+ years of experience in operations, preferably in automotive e-commerce or marketplaces. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field (MBA is a plus) Proven experience managing end-to-end operations in a digital platform Previous experience in the automotive industry (cars marketplace, dealerships, or similar) is a must Experience in scaling startups or digital platforms is a strong plus Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain, and vendor onboarding Experience working with cross-functional teams (tech, marketing, sales) Arabic speaker is required. Experience with sales forecasting, quota setting, and driving sales targets is essential.
