Job description

The CAFM & Asset Management Lead is a pivotal position within the Facilities & Property Management sector, specifically tailored for professionals with airport experience. This role focuses on leveraging Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems to enhance the management of assets and facilities, particularly in an airport environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities and assets are maintained to the highest standards, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges associated with airport facilities management.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive CAFM strategies tailored for airport facilities management.
  2. Oversee the maintenance and performance of all airport facilities and assets, ensuring compliance with aviation industry standards.
  3. Coordinate with airport operations and security teams to ensure seamless integration of asset management processes.
  4. Analyze operational data and generate reports to inform decision-making and improve asset utilization.
  5. Lead a skilled team of facilities management professionals, providing mentorship and support to achieve departmental objectives.
  6. Manage budgets and financial forecasts related to airport asset management and facilities operations.
  7. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  8. Ensure that all airport facilities meet safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
  9. Develop and conduct training programs for staff on CAFM systems and airport-specific asset management practices.
  10. Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to optimize asset performance and service delivery.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience in facilities management or asset management roles within an airport setting.
  2. Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making in a high-stakes environment.
  3. Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with experience in a fast-paced setting.
  4. Proficiency in CAFM software and tools relevant to airport operations.
  5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in a multicultural environment.
  6. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  8. Knowledge of aviation regulations and compliance standards specific to airport operations.
  9. Experience in budget management and financial analysis in the context of airport facilities.
  10. A proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and innovation in facilities management.
