Automotive Technician

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our growing service team in Saudi Arabia. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles, ensuring top-quality performance and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics using advanced tools and software
Repair and rebuild engines, brake systems, transmissions, and other vehicle components
Conduct preventive maintenance services including oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and tune-ups
Carry out thorough vehicle inspections to identify mechanical and safety issues
Test-drive vehicles to confirm successful repairs and optimal performance
Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all work performed
Collaborate with service advisors to communicate findings and recommend necessary repairs
Adhere to safety regulations and workshop protocols at all times
Keep workshop tools, equipment, and work area clean, organized, and well-maintained

Required Qualifications:
2–7 years of professional experience as an Automotive Technician
Proven expertise in automotive diagnostics, engine repair, preventive maintenance, vehicle inspection, and brake systems
Diploma or certification in automotive technology or related field
Strong ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics
Proficiency with diagnostic equipment such as OBD scanners, multimeters, and oscilloscopes
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and manual dexterity
Physical stamina to lift heavy components and work in various environments
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different workshop locations in Saudi Arabia

Preferred Qualifications:
Certification from a recognized automotive institution (e.g., SAE, IMI)
Experience with computerized vehicle management and service software
Familiarity with Saudi Arabian vehicle regulations and safety standards
Valid Saudi Arabian driving license
Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English
Training or experience with hybrid and electric vehicle systems
