The Analyzer Technician Specialist will be pivotal in maintaining and optimizing analytical instrumentation within various industrial processes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of advanced analyzers, including but not limited to gas chromatographs, total sulfur analyzers, and moisture analyzers.
This role demands a high level of technical expertise and the ability to mentor and guide junior technicians.
Responsibilities Install, maintain, and calibrate a variety of analytical instruments to ensure accurate and reliable operation.
Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot analyzer issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules based on manufacturers' specifications and best practices.
Interpret technical documentation, including data sheets, vendor manuals, and schematic diagrams.
Actively participate in safety audits and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and operations staff.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and performance metrics for analyzers.
Work collaboratively with engineering, operations, and quality assurance teams to resolve technical issues and improve analyzer performance.
Stay updated on the latest technologies and advancements in analytical instrumentation.
Associate degree or technical diploma in Instrumentation, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Analyzer Technician in the Oil & Energy industry.
Extensive knowledge of analytical instruments such as gas chromatographs, moisture analyzers, and spectroscopy equipment.
Proficient or knowledge in the below : ABB gas chromatographPGC5000A .
