Job description

JOB PURPOSE:

As the Acquisition Associate, you will be responsible for proactively identifying new real estate development opportunities. You will conduct both on-ground scouting, visit sites and engage with sales teams, and in-depth online and governmental research to uncover projects at various stages. Your responsibilities extend to meticulously collecting, structuring, and maintaining this raw data in our centralised dashboard. By ensuring data validation and providing timely insights, you will act as the primary filter for our Business Development team, driving early opportunity identification and supporting strategic decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

On-Ground Project Scouting

  • Conduct physical site visits to identify under-construction, newly launched, or pre-launch real estate projects.
  • Engage with site personnel, brokers, or sales teams to gather basic project details and developer contacts.
  • Monitor signage, hoardings, and field activity to identify new opportunities in target zones.

Online & Governmental Research

  • Scan online portals, real estate websites, and regulatory platforms (e.g., Balady, WAFI, municipalities) to identify newly approved projects.
  • Extract approval statuses, license numbers, developer registrations, and project milestones.

Raw Data Collection & Structuring

  • Gather project-specific data, including location, land size, developer name, stage of construction, and contact details.
  • Record and upload data in a standardised format to a centralised backend dashboard created for business development.

Dashboard Management & Updation

  • Maintain and regularly update the internal database with verified, timestamped entries for all scouted projects.
  • Classify entries by project stage (approved, under construction, nearing completion), region, and developer profile.

Data Validation & Coordination

  • Coordinate with Relationship Managers to validate project information before initiating commercial discussions.
  • Share field insights to support negotiation strategies, feasibility assessments, and project prioritisation.

Early Opportunity Identification

  • Act as the first layer of opportunity filtration for business development by continuously identifying fresh leads.
  • Provide timely alerts for projects in high-demand corridors, newly launched phases, or government-endorsed zones.
