We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who will strengthen the engineering backbone for our mission-critical Customer Portal SAP for Me, enabling fast, secure, and reliable delivery across 20+ agile teams.
Your focus is on developer enablement, automation, and platform excellence.
Specifically, you will:
Your work will directly increase delivery speed, stability, and engineering productivity across the ART.
Ideally, you also bring experience in large-scale customer-facing platforms and platform standardization initiatives.
You will join SAP for Me Agile Release Train (ART) — a cross-functional organization of ~15 teams developing and operating a large-scale, cloud-native platform.
The platform integrates with more than 50 backend business systems and runs in a modern Kubernetes-based environment (SAP Kyma).
You will become part of the agile team "Bumblebee." The team consists of experienced developers who primarily focus on the development of the shared framework that facilitate the work of developers from other teams. Additionally, the team is responsible for the development, maintenance, and improvement of DevOps tools and deployment. You will work closely with developers and architects to drive and implement new requirements for tools and systems. Emphasis is always placed on code quality, test-driven development, and code reviews. We use pair programming for complex tasks, so it is necessary that you are a team player.
This role is a long-term internal capability to strengthen DevOps maturity, developer enablement, and delivery excellence across the ART.
You belong in a collaborative engineering environment where automation, scalability, and platform quality are key success factors.
