Job description

1. Tele-control / SCADA Engineer (Water Control System)
  • Responsible for supporting SCADA, PLC, RTU, and automation systems for water facilities, including treatment plants and pumping stations.


  • Oversees operation, troubleshooting, integration, and technical documentation of control systems.


  • Coordinates commissioning and testing activities for the Water Control System.


  • Ensures compliance with cybersecurity standards and HSE policies.


2. Tele-control / Substation Control System (SCS) Engineer
  • Ensures the daily operation, maintenance, and fault rectification of Substation Control Systems (SCS/DCS) in Primary and Secondary substations.


  • Manages systems including RTUs (100+ units), WAMS, CMS computer systems, and telemetry battery chargers.


  • Reviews design drawings, prepares spare parts requirements, and oversees project commissioning for in-house projects.


  • Conducts assessments and interviews for contractor SCADA/SCS engineers to issue Letters of Authorization (LOA).


3. Tele-control / Automation Engineer (Water Mega Reservoirs)
  • Responsible for the maintenance and fault rectification of Automation (Control and Networking) systems in Water Mega Reservoirs and Pumping Stations.


  • Manages and updates DCS/SCADA/PLC databases and oversees the integration of new equipment or software upgrades.


  • Reviews technical documents, including P&IDs, Operation Control Philosophy (OCP), and As-Built drawings.
    Prepares annual maintenance plans and job instructions for technicians in accordance with ISO requirements.


Requirements1. Tele-control / SCADA Engineer (Water Control System)

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.


  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Water utilities or EPC automation.


  • Technical: Hands-on experience with PLC/RTU programming and SCADA configuration


  • Mandatory: Valid Qatar Driving License.


2. Tele-control / Substation Control System (SCS) Engineer

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering.


  • Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.


  • Certification: Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards for maintenance reporting.


3. Tele-control / Automation Engineer (Water Mega Reservoirs)

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, or Electrical Engineering.


  • Experience: 7+ years in the industry with 3+ years of supervisory experience specifically in Water Reservoirs or Utilities.


  • Technical: Hands-on expertise with major PLC, RTU, Networking, and DCS systems.


  • Mandatory: Valid Qatar Driving License.
