PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Responsible for achieving goals, recording, and reporting key outputs to plant and management on a periodic basis.
- Ensures that Operation projects are analyzed and delivered using the appropriate Lean methodologies within the Site (such as Process Controls, Statistical Analyses).
- Leads and directs project teams to deliver meet plant targets utilizing appropriate methodologies
- Directs and supports activities related to identifying, prioritizing and implementing Site Operations
- Improvement Programs, to drive improved Regulatory Compliance, Cost reduction and Growth of Global markets
- Improvement road map to achieve improved regulatory compliance, efficiency improvements, and growth of the plant
- Develops training and implementation of Lean/Six Sigma methodology, including sharing best practices within the regional Operation community
- Coaches and provides technical support as required on a plant-wide basis for project analysis in terms of operational efficiency
- Maintains the plant scorecard of critical metrics in performance
- Manages accounting for project spending against agreed to project budgets
- Supervises and coordinates efforts of external continuous improvement consultants in conjunction with the site leadership team
- Provides leadership amongst site peers to drive local changes
- Supports organizational development and teambuilding activities
- Manages the Operation project resources necessary to deliver the results with local site leadership
- Defines and implements financial tracking of operations results within the site
- Performs other duties as assigned by Management.

- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers, regulators and other stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain an effective organization through effective selection, training, leadership and management.
- Provide direction and leadership for site operations including but not limited to: Manufacturing, Quality Operations, Materials Management, Technical Services, Engineering and Health safety.
- Support and foster operational excellence across all functions – including continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
- Create, establish and maintain an environment that encourages teamwork, empowerment and commitment at the site.
Take an active leadership role representing the site in the greater commercial operations and the Company in the local community
