The Project Control Sr. Specialist is responsible for
monitoring and controlling project performance across cost and schedule
dimensions for high revenue generating projects. This role ensures accurate
cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting, while supporting project teams in
maintaining control over budgets, timelines, and overall project performance.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Strategic Responsibilities:
- Support the establishment and maintenance of project control frameworks, standards, and reporting structures
- Contribute to the development of cost control procedures and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide financial and performance insights to support project-level decision-making
- Ensure alignment of project control activities with organizational policies and governance requirements
Operational Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project cost baselines, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
- Monitor project expenditures and commitments against approved budgets
- Prepare and update cost forecasts and track financial performance
- Perform cost and schedule variance analysis, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions
- Prepare periodic project control reports, dashboards, and performance summaries
- Support chance management processes by evaluating cost impacts of variations and claims
- Coordinate with project managers, planners, procurement, and finance teams to ensure alignment across cost, schedule, and scope
- Maintain project control systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and proper coding structures
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, procedures, and audit requirements
People Management:
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate input to project control processes
- Promote adherence to project control procedures
and best practices across project teams

Required
Qualifications:- Bachelors
Degree in Engineering or Project Management.
- Project Management Certifications (PMP or similar
qualifications)
Preferred Experience:- 10 Years of experience in high revenue
generating entities or high level strategic projects
