Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems (pumping stations, piping, leachate collection, gas extraction systems).
Ensure mechanical works are executed as per project specifications, drawings, and QCS/QatarEnergy standards.
Conduct inspections, verify material compliance, and coordinate with QA/QC teams.
Enforce HSE standards on site, ensure permit-to-work adherence, and monitor safe execution of mechanical activities.
Liaise with civil, electrical, and environmental teams to integrate mechanical systems into landfill infrastructure.
Prepare daily progress reports, inspection requests, and maintain site records.
Address technical issues, propose solutions, and support site modifications.
Monitor manpower, equipment, and material usage for mechanical works.
Coordinate with consultants and client representatives during inspections and approvals.
Assist in testing and handover of landfill mechanical systems.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5–7 years of site engineering experience, preferably in landfill, infrastructure, or environmental projects.
Strong knowledge of pumping systems, piping networks, landfill gas extraction, and leachate treatment systems.
Familiarity with QCS (Qatar Construction Standards) execution practices.
Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
Effective communication and leadership skills for site coordination.
