Job description

Our chemical client is looking for a Shift Laboratory Analyst who will be responsible for maintaining the lab equipment, tracking and documenting samples and adhering to SOP's. You will be performing various chemical analyses and providing accurate, timely reports to support plant operations and quality control. 
The role is working alongside the Chemist Senior Supervisor. 
  • Provide regular, routine, and specialist chemical analysis reports based on scientific techniques of the samples, ensuring reports lead to appropriate quality assurance and corrective actions
  • Regular reporting to ensure concerned personnel are well-informed about the plants status and performance from a quality assurance and control perspective 
  • Maintain all lab equipment and utilities, ensuring they are in fit-for purpose condition and maximising its availability
  • Conduct shipment - companys related products analysis of shore Tank, wall wash, first foot and after loading sample
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science, major in Chemistry
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in laboratory environment in an oil and gas petrochemical laboratory preferably at the plant
  • Work Location is Mesaieed
