Senior Facility Engineer

Location: Qatar (Local hire only)
Nationality: Arab Nationality (Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Iraq only)
Salary Range: QAR 12,000-15,000 (all-inclusive)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Facility Engineer to join a leading organization in Qatar. The ideal candidate will oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of all facility systems, ensuring compliance with safety and building standards. This role requires leadership skills to manage projects, lead teams, and drive cost-effective improvements in the organization’s infrastructure.

💼 Key Responsibilities:

1. Facility Operations & Maintenance:
   o Oversee the daily operations of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
2. Project Management:
   o Manage facility improvement projects, including preparing budgets, setting timelines, and overseeing execution.
   o Ensure all projects are completed within the allocated budget and timeline.
   o Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for timely delivery of services and equipment.
3. Compliance & Safety:
   o Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.
   o Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain the safety and quality of facility systems.
   o Develop emergency response plans and ensure backup systems are operational.
4. Team Leadership:
   o Lead and mentor engineering and maintenance teams to achieve high performance.
   o Provide technical guidance to the team and ensure adherence to best practices.
5. Sustainability & Energy Management:
   o Optimize energy consumption by implementing energy-efficient technologies and practices.
6. Budget Management:
   o Prepare and manage operational and maintenance budgets.
   o Oversee procurement of equipment, materials, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
7. Documentation & Reporting:
   o Maintain detailed records of facility operations, maintenance activities, and project progress.
   o Provide regular reports to the Facilities Manager or Operations Manager on system performance, project updates, and compliance.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• 10+ years of experience in facility management.
• Qatar MME/UPDA Grade A or B certification is preferred.
• Certifications in CFM or QCDD are an added advantage.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, maintenance software, and energy management practices.
• Proven leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
