The Summer College Preview Program (SCPP) in Qatar is seeking an experienced Algebra instructor for the upcoming summer session. This is an exciting opportunity to teach academically driven high school students, guiding them as they prepare for university-level studies. The program will run from July 19 – August 6, 2026, with instructor training scheduled from July 13 - 16, 2026.


This is a LOCAL CONTRACT


Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach a 60-minute Algebra class to high school students over the course of the three-week program (totaling 15 hours of instruction).


  • Hold 2 hours per day of office hours and tutoring sessions to provide additional academic support.


  • Participate in community-building activities, which may occur in the evenings and/or on Saturdays throughout the program.


About the Program:

The Summer College Preview Program is a rigorous, three-week pre-university academic experience for high-achieving students entering their junior and senior years of high school (grades 11 & 12). The program is designed to help students in Qatar and surrounding regions prepare for admission to U.S. universities, equipping them with the skills needed to thrive once they are accepted. Students will engage in intensive courses in Math, English, Programming, and one of four major fields: Business Administration, Computer Science, Biological Sciences, and Information Systems.
