As Rostering Manager, you will lead the Qatar Executive crew rostering function, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient roster delivery across a multinational crew workforce. You will drive performance through data-led decision-making, regulatory compliance, operational robustness, fatigue-risk management, and high service standards while maintaining alignment with EASA and QCAA requirements and Qatar Airways Group expectations.
You will be accountable for managing the end-to-end rostering and training planning ecosystem, providing subject matter expertise, and ensuring the department’s procedures, controls, and audit readiness remain at the highest standard.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Roster governance, compliance & operational delivery - lead the crew rostering team to ensure continuous operational coverage for scheduled and ad-hoc operations, while adhering to company policies, EASA FTL and QCAA regulations.
• Perform daily due diligence on roster compliance, operational coverage, productivity, fatigue risk, cost controls, and crew satisfaction indicators.
• Crew training planning (regulatory alignment) - Oversee training planning activities, ensuring training requirements are scheduled and tracked in line with EASA/QCAA regulatory obligations and internal standards.
• Fatigue Risk Management (FRM) - Monitor fatigue risk indicators and implement mitigation strategies to prevent fatigue risk exposures.
• Promote proactive fatigue risk awareness through robust roster design, reporting review, and continuous improvement.
• Procedure manuals, SOPs & continuous improvement - Own the Crew Rostering Manual, SOPs, and quick reference tools ensuring documentation is current, controlled, compliant, and operationally practical.
• Drive process optimization through analytics, workflow streamlining, and efficiency initiatives to enhance roster quality and service delivery.
• Audit readiness & regulatory engagement - Lead department readiness for internal audits and external/regulatory audits (including EASA and QCAA), ensuring corrective actions are closed effectively and on time.
• Maintain strong governance and controls to demonstrate compliance during oversight activities and inspections.
• Leadership & people management - Lead, coach, and develop a high performing team; manage performance, training, succession planning, and resource utilization.
