The Room Attendant, reporting directly to the POSITION, is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of guest rooms and public areas in the hotel. They ensure a welcoming and pleasant environment for all guests by providing exceptional service and attention to detail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean and tidy guest rooms, including changing bed linens, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms as per company and brand standards.
Replenish guest amenities and supplies such as towels, toiletries, and drinking glasses.
Remove trash, dirty linens, and room service items from guest rooms.
Clean and disinfect sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs, and bathroom floors.
Restock bathroom supplies such as soap, shampoo, tissue, and towels.
Respond to guest requests promptly and with courtesy, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Report any lost and found items to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Front Desk immediately.
Report any maintenance or repair issues such as broken furniture, fixtures, or lighting.
Ensure housekeeping carts are stocked with supplies and linens at the beginning and end of each shift.
Maintain proper storage and use of cleaning products, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Cleaning public areas of the hotel, including hallways, elevators, lobbies and other front and back of house areas.
Follow hotel policies and procedures regarding health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
Adhere to regulations and procedures for the use and storage of cleaning chemicals.
Report all missing items from room (e.g. Irons/hair dryers, etc.) to the senior Housekeeping team.
Handles items for ‘lost and found’ according to the hotel policies.
Is responsible for following the SOPs.
