We are seeking for a Project / Planning Engineer who will be responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring engineering and maintenance projects within the oil & gas and energy sectors. The role ensures projects are executed safely, efficiently, and within approved timelines while supporting project controls, resource planning, and stakeholder coordination.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain project schedules and execution plans.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to approved timelines.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams.
  • Track project milestones, risks, and resource requirements.
  • Prepare progress reports and management updates.
  • Support project budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • PMP, Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of overall experience in oil & gas, energy, or industrial projects.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Planning Engineer.
  • Experience in rotating equipment, turbomachinery, compressors, pumps, or turbine projects preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
  • Proficient in project planning software and reporting tools.
