Job description

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Responsible for the safe and effective operation of all production processes, utility system, plant and equipment and associated pipelines to achieve and exceed agreed production targets, ensuring compliance with Company Standard Operating Procedures, HSE policies and procedures and stake holder governance.



RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Implement relevant strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the excellent and timely delivery of production activities and its continuity and integrity for overall plant operations through liaising with other cross functional team members to maintain optimum production in aligned with Dolphin’s Upstream Production Targets.



• Review and monitor the operation activities to ensure the operations remain within the design parameters according to planned production targets through communicating and liaising with Operations Support and Onshore & Offshore Installation teams to follow up on various operational issues, issuing Daily Operating and Standing Instruction.



• Participate in daily Permit to Work (PTW) coordination meetings and provide technical advice to Senior Manager Onshore & Offshore Installation in approving the PTWs and issuing work instructions for operations staff accordingly through reviewing and authorizing PTWs as required, stop any unsafe permits and activities when required.



• Manage the effective implementation of the special testing programs to resolve problems through recommending changes or alterations to operating parameters in order to avoid recurrence of problems identified.



• Follow up on reported incidents, accidents and near misses as required through reviewing the investigation reports and giving instructions / recommendations as required and taking appropriate actions, as necessary to ensure that the investigations are accurately carried out and timely reported.



• Participate in plant operations management meetings with Operations Methods Team including reliability improvement programs, problem identification, root cause analysis meetings and makes recommendations to overcome existing or potential problems, discuss the production unit performance with other superintendents and Senior Manager Onshore and Offshore Installation.



• Monitor and analyze the performance of the production units within the assigned Production Area against agreed KPIs and ensure continuous improvement of operations.



QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Educational Requirements / Qualifications:
• Bachelor of engineering Services.



Minimum Experience:
• 10 years relevant experience in Oil & Gas / petrochemical companies in processing and operation engineering roles in Oil & Gas preferably of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.



Skills and Competencies:
• Good knowledge of the process / operations engineering preferably within onshore and offshore platforms and solid knowledge about oil& gas sector specifications.
• Experience of working with structured project management systems and applying those systems within the context of large-scale projects.
• Good knowledge of HAZOPS, Risk Assessment.
• In- Depth knowledge of Electronic Control of work systems (e-PTW), Risk Assessment and platform operations.
• Solid experience on MOME (Management of Major Emergencies) and CTO (Certificate to Operate) standards.
• Anticipate and meet the need of both internal & external customers
• Strong conflict management, solid decision- making and problem-solving ability, solution focused and self-motivated approach.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Effective interpersonal and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer literate, with advanced knowledge of all relevant engineering software tools, systems
