Oversee and conduct advanced inspections of surface preparation, painting, and coating applications.
Ensure compliance with international standards (ISO, SSPC, NACE, BGAS-CSWIP).
Perform DFT (Dry Film Thickness), adhesion, holiday detection, and other coating tests.
Prepare detailed inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and maintain records.
Guide and mentor junior inspectors (Level 1 & 2) and coordinate with contractors.
Ensure all painting activities adhere to HSE standards.
Liaise with clients and project managers to resolve technical issues.
Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
Certification: Valid BGAS-CSWIP Level 3 Painting Inspector or equivalent (NACE Level 3 preferred).
Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in industrial painting/coating inspection, including oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of coating systems, corrosion protection, and international standards.
Skills: Excellent report writing, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
