Job description

Primary Purpose of the Job
Directly manages PS1 Catering Department and supplies as well as coordinates safe & efficient helicopter landing operations & logistics from PS1/Marinia helidecks. Maintains accurate POB lists and communicates with OIS on all camp and flight related requirements.



Principal Accountabilities
1. Coordinates all helicopter landing operations from PS1 / Marinia helidecks to ensure safe and efficient operations.
2. Maintains PS1 POB lists to ensure accuracy at all times especially in the event of an emergency.
3. Maintains register for weekly crew changes for PS1 and WHM to maintain effective logistics planning.
4. Liaise with and transmit crew change list to Heliport Coordinator to ensure effective utilisation of helicopter logistics.
5. Liaise with the Safety Advisor for assignment of ERT / First Aid personnel to ensure that emergency response capability is maintained at all times.
6. Supervises catering staff duties and follows-up food supplies to stock levels to ensure effective levels are maintained and within budget at all times.
7. Maintains the hygiene of the camp by periodically organizing for pest control services to maintain good hygiene standards at the facilities.
8. Communicates with the OIS on all camp and flight related requirements to ensure effective priority and budgeting of helicopter operations.
9. Book passengers on logistics system, maintain record of all incoming & outgoing passengers and update total People on Board (POB) on the platform as and when changes are affected in order to maintain effective tracking of personnel.



Decision Making Authority
The Camp Boss HLO is a key member of the PS1 team and acts under general supervision of the Offshore Installation Superintendent and uses own initiative. Has authority to take camp decisions in the first instance to maintain catering operability, stock levels and immediate quality concerns. Any suggested recommendations shall be subject to review and endorsement by the OIS.

• Familiar with the daily use and working of e-PTW systems.
• Experience in working with a multi-national workforce.
• Experience in working with administration-led systems, software packages and databases.
• Experience in working rotational & shift patterns.



Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience
Minimum Education: Secondary education with further college education or vocational certification (Apprenticeship, etc.).
Minimum Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in catering administrative functions 12
preferably in offshore Oil & Gas Industry or relevant Marine environment.
Job Specific:
• Good understanding of catering operations
• Good understanding of Helicopter Landing Operations & associated logistics.
• Good understanding of administrative functions within the office environment.
• Familiar with the needs & requirements of all departments offshore.
• Proficiency in computer software applications and usage – MS Office, Adobe, and other programs as applicable.
