Primary Purpose of the Job
Carry out Asset Integrity inspection activities offshore, covering subsea pipelines, structures and topside equipment as applicable ensuring that all inspection activities comply with safety guidelines and procedures and are carried out according to prescribed plan and reports all anomalies and deficiencies to Asset Integrity Supervisor.
Principal Accountabilities
1. Carry out all asset integrity inspection activities offshore and ensures they are carried out in a safe and efficient manner & in line with procedures /standards.
2. Participate in Safety and Toolbox talks to ensure all inspection activities are carried out to relevant offshore work permits and procedures.
3. Ensures that all inspection activities are carried out according to the integrated plan and reports all anomalies and deficiencies to Asset Integrity Supervisor.
4. Updates SAP with manhours spent against each work orders and closes out workorder when the activity is completed.
5. Raise Inspection reports where appropriate and make recommendation for repairs and submit for onshore engineering review through the IR application workflow.
6. Follow-up on the closure of inspection findings and update the inspection reports on completion of remedial work for future reference.
7. Keeps track of material spent and order materials when required to ensure no material shortage.
Decision Making Authority
Supports in all Asset Integrity inspection carried out offshore at Idd El-Shargi assets, raises inspection reports, identifies anomalies and deficiencies and provides recommendation for repair in normal and emergency situation.
Context / Special Features / Challenges
Good technical and practical offshore experience is required to address the day-to-day challenges by reviewing and identifying the required remedial course of action in order to minimize revenue losses.
Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience Qualifications & Knowledge
• Minimum educational background of 2 years with Relevant associated Asset Integrity qualification. Engineering Degree desirable • Technical Diploma or equivalent.
• Plant inspection, Welding inspection and RT inspection certification.
• Should be well versed with MS office and computer skills, fluent in English.

• Ability to work with minimum supervision and demonstrate initiative to resolve problems.

Experience
• Minimum (5) years of professional experience in managing a team of inspectors in Oil & Gas Industry preferably in offshore environment.
• Knowledge of international inspection and compliance codes/jurisdictional codes desirable
• Should have multi-discipline skill set and good understanding of inspection and coating practices and standards.
