Nurse Psychiatry

Premium Solutions Consultancy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Psychiatry to join our Client’s team in Qatar. The Primary Nurse will provide individualized nursing care according to treatment plans, ensuring the highest standards of professional quality. The role includes administering medications, monitoring patient responses, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and recording observations and therapeutic interventions.

Key Accountabilities:
• Provide nursing care services as instructed by the Nurse-in-charge, following treatment plans to meet patient needs.
• Prepare rooms for new admissions, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients.
• Clean and prepare medical equipment/areas according to clinical standards.
• Greet and escort newly admitted patients to their rooms, delivering a high level of hospitality.
• Document care services and patient responses, providing feedback to the Nursing Supervisor for service improvement.
• Treat all patients fairly, ensuring satisfaction with the service provided.
• Provide nursing care with respect for privacy, knocking before entering patient rooms.
• Safeguard the confidentiality of all patient care information.
• Offer emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and their families, fostering a compassionate environment.
• Notify patients appropriately before changing their room or roommate to ensure their comfort.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary work areas to uphold high quality and hospitality standards.
• Relay information from the Clinical Team to patients and their families, addressing their questions and concerns.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment by monitoring and reporting the status of the physical environment and supporting a positive therapeutic milieu.

Requirements :
• Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing.
• 3 years of experience in Nursing, including 1 year in mental health or addiction.
• Valid primary license from the country of origin.
• Eligibility for a license from the licensing authority in the State of Qatar to practice as a healthcare professional.
• Strong command of English and Arabic.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
