The Motor Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the mechanical systems of vehicles and heavy equipment within the fleet. This role ensures the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of all mechanical components, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of operations.
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles and heavy equipment, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrains.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, brake inspections, and filter replacements, to ensure equipment longevity
Inspect and test mechanical systems to identify faults and determine appropriate corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used and time spent.
Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulatory standards.
Knowledge ofInternal combustion engines, transmissions, and drivetrain systems.
Knowledge ofDiagnostic tools and techniques for identifying mechanical faults
Knowledge ofPreventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
Knowledge ofSafety standards and regulations related to mechanical work in vehicles and heavy equipment.
Knowledge ofManufacturer specifications for mechanical systems and components.
Any relevant working experience, GCC experience is a plus
