Job Summary

The MEP Lead Mechanical Engineer is responsible to oversee and coordinate the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems in building projects, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, optimizing system performance, and supporting overall project objectives and timelines.




Job Responsibilities 1

Lead a team of mechanical engineers and designers through planning, design, and execution phases of projects.


Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.


Work closely with clients to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints, presenting technical proposals and reports.


Implement quality assurance and control processes to ensure designs are accurate, reliable, and compliant with industry standards.


Review and approve mechanical design deliverables, ensuring they meet project requirements and client expectations.


Provide technical support during construction, including responding to RFIs, conducting site inspections, and resolving technical issues.


Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems according to design specifications.


Manage mechanical engineering project requirements, ensuring clear project scope and compliance with change management processes.


Communicate effectively with the mechanical engineering team and project stakeholders, including the client, and resolve discrepancies between project requirements and client needs.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Proven track record of successfully delivering complex mechanical engineering projects within budget and schedule constraints.


Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HVAC load calculation tools.


Strong knowledge of local and international building codes, standards, and regulations.


Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholder.



ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.




Job Experience

Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
