As a Lead Flight Planning Agent you will plan, monitor and ensure 100% utilization and optimization of available positions on the flight as per the FBL. Ensure manifest, UWS and NOTOCs are released to load control within the agreed timeframe. Failures to be recorded with the appropriate operational remarks in CROAMlS. Close co-ordination with warehouse build up teams to ensure that the planned allocation is followed to achieve the FAP
Operational Accountabilities.
Ensure allocated flights are planned as per the FBL handling priorities and special load requirements. Ensure flights are planned timely, effectively and accurately to achieve the set KPls and maximum load factor.
Determine the available flight capacity to ensure maximum cargo optimization with the best ULD combination.
Ensure recorded irregularities are analyzed during the planning and appropriate follow-ups are done with the relevant stakeholders, to resolve and to uplift the shipments as booked.
Provide preliminary cargo tonnage to load control as per the agreed cut-off time and ensure estimated figures are in close proximity of actual tonnage in order to avoid zero fuel weight variance.
Proactively communicate with the build-up teams and ensure shipments are built as planned to meet the FBL compliance and to achieve the FAP.
Coordinate with the customer airlines and RM proactively and fill-up the under-optimized flights with on-hand loads.
Perform the mandatory checks during the flight planning, which involves gross weight checks, NOTOC preparation, security regulations, country restrictions, aircraft limitations, special load segregations and customer airline requirements to maintain 100% safety and security aspects.
Ensure 100% data accuracy at all stages of flight planning, including UWS and NOTOC preparation.
Remove the un-planned shipments from the FBL by updating relevant irregularity codes in CROAMIS. Ensure manifest, UWS and NOTOCs are released to load control within the agreed timeframe. Failures to be recorded with the appropriate operational remarks in CROAMIS.
Ensure special load pre-alerts are communicated on time with the relevant stakeholders for appropriate handling.
Ensure non-compliances are recorded and reported on time to the relevant stakeholders.
Ensure all necessary documents including the flight checklist are completed and retained for record purposes. Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
