The High-Speed Balancing Engineer role requires a technical expert responsible for the comprehensive vibration analysis and balancing of turbo compressors and turbine rotors. This role is pivotal in maintaining our quality standards, optimizing performance, and delivering the reliable energy solutions our world depends on. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to plan, execute, and document precision balancing procedures.


How You’ll Make an Impact


  • Operate High-Speed Balancing (HSB) bunkers and Low Speed Balancing equipment to perform detailed vibration analysis, balancing procedures, and support dynamic electrical tests.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of rotor setup, data collection, analysis, and dismantle. Utilize advanced sensors and software (e.g., Bently Nevada, different balancing systems) to analyze critical speeds, unbalance responses, and overspeed tests.
  • Calculate and implement precise balance solutions by installing required weights on rotors during both Low-Speed Balancing (LSB) and HSB phases.
  • Supervise and maintain auxiliary systems critical to HSB operations, including lube-oil, vacuum, cooling water, power supply, and electronic controls.
  • Coordinate procedural requirements and quality control plans with Manufacturing and Quality Engineers, ensuring strict adherence to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) and all applicable international standards.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols, perform preventive maintenance, and keep machines clean.

What You Bring


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field. A High School Diploma/GED may be considered with at least 15+ years of direct, hands-on rotor balancing experience. Proven experience and specialist in dynamic analysis and vibration analysis of rotating equipment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and work effectively within a global, cross-functional team environment and strong analytical problem-solving; understands influence coefficients and tolerance management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Bi-lingual proficiency (e.g., English.)
  • Multi-tasking and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.bCreative mindset for process improvement and innovation. Calm under pressure; structured approach to high-speed operations.
  • A team player; collaborates with machining, inspection, and QA with effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Safety-first mindset with excellent situational awareness.
