Job description

Primary Purpose of the Job
Lead and supervise the Project Services team in delivering comprehensive Cost Estimation, Cost Monitoring and Control (including budget management), Planning and Scheduling, Invoice Processing and Monitoring, and Document Control services. Ensure all activities support the successful execution of projects on schedule, within budget, and in full alignment with project requirements. Promote and uphold the highest standards of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) in strict compliance with the QHSE Management System.


Required Experience and Skills
  • Minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry with an IOC, NOC, EPIC contractor, or major Oil & Gas company, focused on large-scale project execution. At least 5 of those years must be in a Head or Lead Project Control Engineer role within an IOC/NOC or EPIC contractor environment.
  • Proficient, hands-on experience with planning and scheduling software including Primavera P6, P6 Analytics, Primavera Risk Analysis, MS Project, MS Office, and SAP.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Cost Monitoring, Cost Control, and Reporting processes.
  • Proven capability in implementing industry best practices along with company systems, standards, and processes.
  • Experience supporting the development of project execution strategies, engineering workflows, project management processes, and detailed project execution plans.
  • Strong familiarity with activities related to engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and start-up of major onshore projects.
  • Possesses strong management, communication, conflict resolution, and presentation skills.


Educational Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline from a recognized university; a higher academic qualification is considered an advantage.
  • Membership in a recognized professional engineering association or institution is required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is an added advantage.
