Our client is a leading, large-scale company in the Automotive industry. We are seeking a high-caliber General Manager - Automotive to lead and optimize the day-to-day operations across all automotive business units. This executive role focuses on driving profitability, operational excellence, and market competitiveness while aligning activities with long-term strategic goals.
Operational Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement the overall operations strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving cost management to maximize profitability.
Sales Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day sales, ensuring dealership performance meets targets, and work with marketing to enhance customer experience and conversion rates.
Supply Chain & Inventory: Supervise the end-to-end supply chain, from vehicle and spare part procurement to distribution, while optimizing inventory levels to reduce costs.
Customer Experience Excellence: Lead initiatives to enhance customer touchpoints and implement feedback systems to ensure high satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
Financial Performance & Budgeting: Direct responsibility for GP margins, pricing strategies, and cost optimization; collaborate with the CFO to manage financial business plans and budgets.
Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain robust relationships with automakers, suppliers, and key stakeholders to ensure operational success and service quality.
Crisis Management & Accountability: Act as the primary liaison for operational issues, mitigating risks and promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 20 years of professional experience with a strong background in senior automotive operations management.
Regional Expertise: Must have specific automotive industry experience inside Qatar or the GCC.
Languages: Proficiency in both Arabic and English is preferred.
Joining Time: Ability to join within 30 to 60 days.
Reporting: This position reports directly to the Board of Directors (BOD).
Salary Range:Attractive - High Market Range.
Working Days: 5 Days per week.
Location: Doha, Qatar.
