Job description

Job Overview

The General Manager will play a pivotal role in directing the operations and strategic planning of our hospitality division. This position requires a dynamic leader capable of managing resources effectively while ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the luxury hospitality sector to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance guest experiences and increase overall profitability.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders, including guests, employees, and business partners.
  • Monitor financial performance and prepare budgets while implementing cost control measures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as industry standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the hospitality team by promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
  • Report directly to senior management on performance metrics and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive innovation in services offered to differentiate the brand in the competitive luxury marketplace.

  • It will be your responsibility as General Manager to create business plans, develop budgets, and define operational policies, all aimed at optimizing resources and facilitating sustainable growth.

Skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience of 10+ years in a senior management role within the luxury hospitality sector.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret financial data and respond to business challenges.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a focus on team development.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.

Desired Experience

  • Prior experience in managing luxury hotels or resorts, with hands-on involvement in high-profile projects.
  • Track record in improving operational performance and guest satisfaction ratings.
  • Experience in working in a multicultural environment and adapting to varying customer preferences.
  • Established network within the luxury hospitality industry for potential collaborations and partnerships.
