Job description

One of our Client is seeking a Facilities Engineer to join our team in the Real Estate industry. As a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the facilities are safe, functional, and in compliance with all regulatory guidelines.



Responsibilities
  • Manage facilities maintenance needs, ensuring the hospital is operating at the highest level of safety and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for hospital equipment and systems.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for the maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Participate in the design and construction of new facilities, including the development of architectural plans and the selection of appropriate materials and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all local and federal regulations pertaining to healthcare facilities and emergency protocols.
  • Conduct regular inspections of hospital facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and potential hazards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to staff members on the use and maintenance of equipment and systems.

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety requirements and regulations, and emergency protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate facilities maintenance needs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop creative solutions to complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
