Clinical Duties:
• Provide expert Expressive Arts Therapy, including planning, designing, and facilitating rehabilitation programs.
• Conduct age-appropriate Arts Therapy group interventions aimed at building positive coping skills and providing emotional support.
• Deliver individual, group, couple, and family Arts Therapy sessions.
• Manage a diverse caseload of patients with complex needs in both residential and ambulatory care settings, utilizing evidence-based person-centered principles.
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care delivery.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment for procurement.
Educational Duties:
• Lead and participate in Expressive Arts Therapy in-service development.
• Contribute to service improvement initiatives within the organization.
• Assist in teaching Expressive Arts Therapy to multidisciplinary team members, clinical and non-clinical staff, and others to enhance patients’ recovery.
Job Requirements: Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in human science.
• Master’s degree or equivalent in Art Therapy, Music Therapy, Drama Therapy, or Expressive Arts Therapy.
• Certification/Licensure: Valid primary license from the country of origin as a registered professional member with a recognized Art Therapy Association (e.g., IEATA, AATA, ECArTE, CATA/ACAT, BADTH).
• Eligibility for licensure from the Licensing Authority in the State of Qatar.
• Minimum of 2 years of full-time Art Therapy practice in clinical, social, educational, or rehabilitation settings.
Note: Preference will be given to candidates Specifically of Arabs or West nationalities of Arab descent
