Electrical Technician – Responsibilities:


  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime.
  • Install, test, and commission electrical equipment, motors, panels, and control systems.
  • Conduct inspections and routine checks on electrical installations.
  • Maintain MCCs, switchgear, transformers, VFDs, and motor control circuits.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Carry out cable laying, termination, and electrical connections.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and electrical standards.
  • Record maintenance activities and prepare service reports.
  • Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure reliable plant performance.
  • Assist in shutdown, turnaround, and emergency maintenance activities.
  • Maintain housekeeping and ensure tools and equipment are used safely and properly.
