Qualifications, Experience and Competencies requirement of Contractor personnel

Following shall be minimum requirements for all resources:

1.1 Language:

A. Technicians shall have working level proficiency of Read, Write, speak and Understand competency in

English language.

1.2 Safety:

Applicable to all the positions:

A. Shall be well familiar with the hazardous chemicals / materials used in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer

industry, their hazards, and safe practices to perform the Installation/Maintenance activity safely.

B. Shall always adhere to QAFCO's Safety requirements.

C. Shall have knowledge about PTW(permit to work) system in large scale industries and shall pass

COMPANY's PTW as well as PTW acceptance authorization post training assessment tests.

D. Shall understand and work within the framework of COMPANY's Maintenance, HSEQ Policy, procedures and

regulations.

Qualifications, Experience and Competency
Qualification, experience, and competency in respective disciple:
Engineering Diploma in respective discipline (12+3 years)
06 years relevant and hands-on experience in respective discipline, in Oil &
Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industry and competency*
Hands-on experience of the Work order part of EAM (enterprise asset
maintenance) module of SAP would be preferable.

To carry out any maintenance and modification work related to electrical equipment including but not
limited to following:
a HV/MV/LV Power and Distribution Transformers
b HV/MV/LV switch board and switch gears
c HV/MV/LV cables and terminations
d MV/LV MCCs
e MV/LV Motors
f Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
g Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
h Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems (UPS)
i Lighting
j Cathodic Protection (CP) Systems
k Hoists
l Electrical Systems of Flares
- Familiarity with Electrical Control and Protection Systems like PLCs, Motor Protection Relays, Feeder
Protection Relays etc.
- Carry out basic repairs of electrical equipment and power circuits. Contributes in trouble shooting the
complex and major electrical problems or breakdowns.
- Read and interpret simple machine sketches, Single Line Diagram, complex control schematics and
diagnose flow charts as necessary to facilitate proper maintenance.
- Ability to use all related tools and instruments for the above said maintenance activities.
- The personnel shall be able to use and maintain all type of testing and calibration instruments including
Multimeter and Insulation Tester (Megger).
- Shall be well familiar with the hazardous chemicals / materials used in the Oil & Gas industries and
means to perform the Installation/Maintenance activity safely.
- Shall be aware of safety and environmental aspects in the Oil & Gas plants.
- Record keeping in CMMS (computerized maintenance management system).
- Knowledge about Work permits system in large scale industries.
- Good HSEQ (health safety environment & quality) record in his past working.
- Knowledge about Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO)
- Comply with Company Life Saving Rules as per PSa-001 Life Saving Rule Document.
- Comply with all relevant procedures of Company Integrated Management System comprising of
Occupational Health and Safety, Quality, Environment, Responsible Care, IFA Product Stewardship &
energy Management System.
